Donna Landry

Donna has been resident of Hammond, Louisiana since 1998. She graduated from Nicholls State University in 1987 with a degree in Nursing. She is the Administrator of the Richard Murphy Hospice House a position she has held since it’s opening in August 2007. Prior to her current position, Donna held a variety of hospital registered nursing positions, and she was co-owner and operator of a successful medical supply company and a women’s healthcare bouquet.
Donna has served on the Board of Directors of the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation since 1999. She managed a cancer support group in the Hammond area. She has volunteered for many organizations including SKIP camp as a volunteer registered nurse for 12 years, Board member of Compass College, on the steering committee for the Hammond State girls’ basketball Tournament, and dedicated to volunteering her services to many other charities in her community. Her personal and professional mission is to maintain the operation of the Hospice House in order to ensure that each resident keeps their dignity, relieved of pain and suffering, and treated in a loving and caring way.
Patricia Westmoreland

Patricia Westmoreland is a lifelong resident of Hammond where she resides with her husband, Dr. Leo Westmoreland. Patricia attended public schools in Hammond and Southeastern Louisiana University.
Patricia has been the Executive Director of the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation since 1986. Since she took the reins of the organization, many changes have occurred. Most importantly, the building and operation of the Richard Murphy Hospice House. Through Patricia’s fundraising efforts, millions of dollars have been raised and dedicated to patient care and to the building of the Hospice House. Patricia was the 2004 winner of the Annie Award for her outstanding service in the field of business. Her personal and professional mission is to continue to administer the foundation and the operation of the Hospice House in order to ensure that compassionate care and quality services are available to hospice patients in our community.
